One of the major projects we have undertaken for this firm was to convert them to IFRS. The company has a complex capital structure and group situation. Our in house expertise has proved invaluable in ensuring a smooth conversion with minimal disruption to the business;

accounting and audit services for a multitude of regulated clients including solicitors, FSA, ARLA, and Licensed conveyancers where we are responsible for reporting to the appropriate authority. We have in house expertise to deal with the specialised accounting packages of these clients as well as preparing accounts in the required formats;

business planning and business reviews for a company that is based in the New Forest which has a current turnover of £2 million across export markets in Europe and the Middle East. We have helped with planning and streamlining the business and expect turnover to rise to in excess of £5 million within the next year. We have been instrumental in assisting them with the valuation of work in progress and working with them to implement a system to control this;

installation and training on SAGE software by one of our in house experts for a large client in the motor industry. This has helped assist with in house efficiencies and more timely management information thus enabling more informed management;

representing a client against an employee who due to his threatening behaviour towards other staff was dismissed. We helped with the dismissal procedure, and also with tribunal matters that followed. To save our client time and money, we initiated a pre-hearing review of the case which led to the tribunal agreeing with us that the ex-employee had little prospect of winning his claim. The tribunal claim was subsequently dropped.
